A wide variety of courses and seminars are available throughout the course of the year. See a complete listing of the course at the VLCFF website at the University of Dayton.

E-Learning at the University of Dayton

The courses and seminars at VLCFF are internet-based learning opportunities. This is an ideal solution for people who want to learn more about their faith but who are constrained by time, distance, and family or work-related responsibilities.

Your classroom is your own computer desk, and your co-learners are from all over the country. Set your own schedule for participation in the courses offered. Join other students at the Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (VLCFF).

How much does a course/seminar cost?

Each course runs over the duration of 4-6 week and costs $50 for participants who reside in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. This represents a saving on the normal course fee of $105 each.

The University of Dayton offers participants who successfully complete each course 2.5 continuing education units (CEUs). Seminars may be taken for 1.5 CEUs. This information may change, and should be confirmed on the VLCFF website.

All courses provided through the Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation at the University of Dayton are eligible for Continuing Education Units (CEUs) The number of CEUs earned are based on the number of contact hours taken for a course. Earned CEU's may be useful in maintaining certification or licensure.
