 Marriage & Family Survey 2015

The Catholic Church is being engaged over a two-year period in a process of reflection on the family and the pastoral challenges encountered in ministering to families.  In October 2014, in an Extraordinary Synod held in Rome, the bishops reflected on those challenges.  The document from the Synod of 2014 has been published as The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and Contemporary World, and will serve as the preparatory document for the upcoming XIV Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops  to be held October 4-25, 2015 in Rome.  The United States Catholic Bishops have elected Archbishop José H. Gomez as one of their four delegates.

As he prepares for the Synod, the Archbishop Gomez would like your perspectives and insights on what our parishes are doing in the broad areas of preparing couples for marriage and supporting families.
He is asking pastors and parish leaders to respond to a brief online survey about their programs and about what they see as the most important priorities for promoting marriage and family life. The results are solely for the Archbishop's use in preparing for the Synod and reflecting on the pastoral needs of the Archdiocese.
Thank you for your participation.
