 Catholic Healthcare

"Jesus told us that he would be present in the person of those who are sick and suffering: 'I was sick and you cared for me.' And he told us — that the love that we show to the sick and the suffering is the love that we show to him." - Archbishop Gomez

We are blessed in the Archdiocese of LA to have many Catholic organizations dedicated to serving those in need of quality healthcare.

Join a Parish Ministry for the Sick
Some parishes visit the elderly of their parish or in nursing homes, bring sick parishioners communion, or drive the homebound to church. Other parishes schedule health fairs, offer information for parish nurses. And others help parishioners fill out their Advance Health Care Directives. Be creative! There are so many opportunities.
