 Youth Ministry

 The Youth Ministry Division in the Office of Religious Education is committed to assisting those in ministry
with youth, ages 10-18, in both parish and school settings.  Our mission is to is to nurture and develop the faith life of our youth by equipping leaders with the knowledge, skills, practical tools and techniques for creative ministry, including confirmation.
Additionally, we provide training and certification for new youth ministers as well as hiring and personnel support for parishes in search of youth ministers. At the archdiocesan level, youth ministry provides retreats and other spiritual enrichment experiences for youth.

Youth Ministry Specialization ​
Vision and Skills for Forming Missionary Disciples! 
March 28-29, 2020

See and do your ministry with a clearer sense of mission.  Learn skills for accompanying youth in their missionary discipleship of Jesus.  This specialization is for anyone who ministers in: Youth Ministry (junior high & high school), Teen Sacrament preparation (baptism, first communion, confirmation), teen small faith sharing groups, Campus Ministry, etc. 

March 28-29, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Northridge
Cost is $30 per participant. ($40 after March 16th)
